After the gear coupling is assembled, the spline pair should slide freely and the joint should rotate flexibly. After assembly, clean the surface. Except for the flange end face and the end face key, apply anti-rust grease, and then apply anti-rust primer to the rest, and then spray paint. When packaging, it should be leveled and clamped. Gear coupling lubrication method:


1. Gravity lubrication. The lubricating oil is injected from the nozzle and flows through the gear side clearance and flows out from the small hole of the sleeve. This lubrication method mainly plays a cooling role. It is difficult to form an oil film, and the tooth surface wear is faster than the following lubrication.


2. Lubrication. The lubricating oil is sprayed from the small holes at the bottom of the gear teeth. The oil enters the meshing surface under the action of centrifugal force to play a lubricating and cooling role. The oil flows out from both sides of the teeth after passing through the meshing surface. In this type of lubrication, the oil flow circulates continuously, and the impurities flow out with it. The pressure caused by the injected lubricating oil under the action of centrifugal force enters the meshing surface of the gear teeth, so there is good lubrication and cooling operation, which is suitable for heavy load occasions.


3. Oil storage lubrication. The lubricating oil is injected from the nozzle, and the lubricating oil layer is maintained on the outer circle of the gear due to the centrifugal force of the lubricating oil during rotation. This lubrication method will leave impurities in the gear ring, and the heat dissipation effect of the oil flow is also poor, so it is only suitable for low power and low speed occasions. There is also a non-flowing oil storage lubrication method belonging to this type, that is, the grease is poured into the interior and then sealed.


The structure of the gear coupling is basically symmetrical, and the two external gear sleeves can be pressed or hot-fitted to the shaft head through key connection. The tooth surface of the external gear sleeve is circular arc teeth along the length direction, which is processed by the template using the profiling method. The teeth on the outer gear sleeve are drum-shaped teeth when viewed from the tooth top direction, and the tooth thickness gradually decreases from the inner to the outer sides, while the teeth on the inner gear ring meshing with it are linear teeth. Since the tooth top and tooth surface of the outer gear sleeve are arc-shaped, the entire coupling is double-jointed and flexible. In this way, it can adapt to the large deflection angle between the two axes, and can be lubricated with thin oil or dry oil. The gear coupling has a compact structure, small size, weight, volume and moment of inertia, and all parts are round, so the unbalanced torque is also small.
